Dear Discovery at Tatum Place Homeowner:

The Board of Directors of Discovery at Tatum Place are looking to appoint a director to fill the vacancy.  Prior board experience is not necessary however, applicant should possess the following qualifications:

  • An interest in serving the Community.
  • A commitment to uphold the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and governing documents of Discovery at Tatum Place Homeowner’s Association.
  • The ability to listen and make informed decisions.
  • A commitment to attend all regularly scheduled Board meetings, as well as the additional time that may be required in order to participate at Committee level and carry out Board duties.
  • All candidates must be confirmed owners of a unit in the Association or otherwise qualify as a candidate, based on the Association's Document provisions. The candidate does not need to be a full-time resident of the community, but it is highly recommended.
  • A candidate is required to be in good standing in the Association, with all assessments current. (See related sections in your Association's Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws & CC&Rs.)
  • Since we live in a world of technology these days, access to email and software programs such as Word, Excel and PDF for reviewing documents prior to attending a meeting is strongly encouraged and recommended.

The Board will review all applications received and may elect to conduct interviews of finalists prior to a vote.  The appointment of a director to fill the Board vacancy will be confirmed at the November 20th Board meeting.  If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please complete the following Candidate Application Form and return no later than 5:00 pm Friday, November 15th, 2019:
